I grew up in California as a second generation Asian American and completed my undergraduate degree at Stanford University and her MD and PhD in Neurosciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine, where I was awarded a Graduate Public Service Fellowship. I completed my residency in Pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center in 2018 and am board certified in Pediatrics.
I am now a 3rd year Fellow in Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplant at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital. I am also a Postdoctoral Fellow at Dana-Farber, studying oncogenic mechanisms underlying pediatric brain tumors. I serve as co-director of the STEM Education Advocacy Group. I have published articles in The New York Times, Science Careers, Nature Biotechnology, and Science.
