I am a musician and story-writer from Ann Arbor, Michigan and based in New York. I have a degree in Music from Albion College and a Master’s in film scoring from NYU. Growing up, I was always interested in both science and the arts, and was especially interested in the space in-between them. Both have a lot to offer each other in regards to things like exciting and effective outreach and communication. That’s why, with my cofounder Jessika Raisor, we started Goldilocks Zone – a music and animation studio helping STEM educators and communicators tap into the power of song & story. All the while, we toss in lessons for life in our stories to reach something authentic, powerful, and human – for the good of science.
