The main goals of SAi Expeditions are to facilitate knowledge exchange, building new connections, and promote innovative initiatives. The most recent expedition (#13) saw SAi visit Science Sandbox at the Simons Foundation in New York City. The visit lasted 2 days and featured recent awardees of grants from the Science Sandbox with the aim of building new connections. Over 2 days, attendees participated in panel discussions across several important topics with the majority of the time spent on networking and brainstorming. SAi made several new connections with organizations working to connect people to science.
